In more than 20 years of involvement with aviation, the author has not visited any other aviation museum more often than the Bulgarian aviation museum at Plovdiv's Krumovo airport. He was there six times in total, first in 2000, twice in 2001, in 2003, 2010 and (so far) last in 2011. This is due not only to the numerous visits to nearby Graf Ignatievo air base, but also to the fact that, besides a wide range of exhibits on Bulgarian (post-war) aviation history, this museum displays several MiG-21s and various associated equipment. Below are impressions from the different years, in which newly restored exhibits could be discovered again and again.
