In 1995 the Luftwaffenmuseum of the Bundeswehr opened at Berlin-Gatow after its move from Uetersen/Appen. In the summer of 1995 the author took the first opportunity to get an overview of the collection, concentrating in particular on the aircraft from NVA stocks, including of course MiG-21s.
